I formed the band LOVE when I came back from L.A. (I lived there 2 years). Robert Young on guitar, Eric Paradis on bass and Barry Meldrum on drums... We toured Quebec opening for D.D.T. and kicked their ass every night! We were hot looking, had catchy songs... Usually the room would empty after we were done and D.D.T. would end up playing to a near empty bar. This was recorded in 2 separate sessions at a studio that Matt Laurent and his friend ran for a few years in the 80's. We programed the bass, drums, percussions and we sampled all the backup vocals. The result is a very 80's sound. We were approached by ASA Records who suggested we get Frank Marino to produce the album but after listening to his latest recording, I was not impressed so I insisted on producing it myself. The band broke up shortly after the release in the summer of 1990. I have absolutely no idea how much it sold...
