I sang this melody in complete despair, nude in a padded cell at the psychiatric evaluation center where doctors were trying to determine if I was sane enough to stand trial...
I was in a deep depression and I was sincerely asking whatever God I envisioned at the time to come and get me. I wanted to disappear from this existence of pain and suffering. I have to say that I was severely addicted to IV cocaine in colossal, suicidal amounts... Anyway that's how this song came to be.
