about

The definitive version of this song, closer to the live version than the previous recording on the Draghoula soundtrack. I wrote that chorus and general idea, completely nude and in the middle of one of the greatest crises of my life, crying and screaming restrained on a metal bed soldered to the floor, in a padded cell at the Pinel institute for the criminally insane, (I was being evaluated to determine if I was fit to stand trial.) Eventually my rants and screams turned into a word: DISAPPEAR! I want to disappear I sang like a suicidal mantra. I also "wrote" or created, rather, SUI, SUI, SUI, SUICIDE! that same night... which appeared on our first C.D. "Sodom & Gomorrah"

lyrics

DISAPPEAR

Main street, red light
fake smile, cheap tease
Old man, big car
Body sold, heart bleed

Some wish they could just

Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Disappear woo, Disappear woo

Birds fly, love dies
Time cuts, Brothers cry
Another one,
One more, two more, three more...

Some wish they could just

Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Disappear woo, Disappear woo

When they couldn't find love
kids went and looked elsewhere
there they found sugar dads who would love their sex, and we live next door and we just don't care enough

Some wish they would just

Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Come on and
Disappear woo, Disappear woo
Disappear woo, disappear woo

And we live next door and we just don't care enough
Sometimes I wish I could just
Disappear
