Our phenomenal drummer Ross Gabriel (In red on the picture) wrote his first song, which wasn't all bad, but he insisted on singing it which we believed was a very bad mistake. He was inexperienced and had a very annoying nasal tone which makes his song difficult to listen to. Back then his ego was so incredibly large he wanted to change the band and would threaten to quit if we did not relent... It didn't save the band though... The next year Ross convinced me to fir the two guitarists and try our luck in L.A. which turned into a two year coke party with celebrities and beauties. No work was ever done and we had to beg Ross' parents to fly us back to Montreal, defeated and bruised. That's when I began my first attempts at recovery but I still had a long road ahead of me before I finally won that battle!
