about

I am very proud of this one. Very beautiful ballad. Neil Gardner improvised a killer keyboard solo... I was inspired by Billy Joel's "I love you just the way you are" for the electric piano sound... Sometimes your life revolves around a person to the point of losing your sense of self and ultimately your emotional sanity... Remember: You have to be able to stand on your own if you want to give love. You have to have love for yourself in order to love someone else; If not, love becomes co-dependency...

lyrics

IT ALL REVOLVES AROUND YOU
Word and music: Eloha Bouchard © 1997

Without you the mood is grey
Without you my life is stale
Without you there is no day
Without you the sunlight feels so pale
And the night descends upon me like a veil
Funny how I seem to lose myself
How in the end

It all revolves around you, It all revolves around you
It all revolves around you, It all revolves around you

You put the blood in me
I’m only half of thee
You are vital to me
How in the end

It all revolves around you – I see my life in you
It all revolves around you – I see my eyes in you
It all revolves around you – Everything I love is you
It all revolves around you – How in the end

SOLO

You put the blood in me
I’m only half of thee
You are vital to me
How in the end

It all revolves around you – I see my life in you
It all revolves around you – I see my eyes in you
It all revolves around you – Everything I love is you
It all revolves around you – I’m losing faith in me
It all revolves around you – I lost autonomy
It all revolves around you – I’m losing sanity
It all revolves around you.
