Written by Bobby Bernard & Chriss Lee Eloha. "this is a song where I helped a friend finish an idea he had by putting the ideas in a coherent shape of Intro, verse, chorus, verse chorus, solo chorus, enhanced chorus with guitar harmonies, turn the Fren-glish into proper English, produced the thing, the end... It was ofetn the case when someone would say they wrote songs: They usually mean they have ideas, riffs, choruses without verses etc... It's another thing to actually have a finished product that can stand up to a Kiss or AC-DC song... In order to come up with the 13 songs on Sodom & Gomorrah, I had to write a hundred mediocre songs over my formative years. Stuff I'm embarrassed about today. In order to write great songs I have to write a lot before I can come up with memorable songs or even sometimes a great one. You have to hone your craft. This is an example of a guy's sophomoric effort at writing a song, even if greatly helped by my experience, the result is a pretty childish tune... Sorry Bobby for the brutal honesty here but after all this is my forum, and I'm sure after that many years you'll agree with me.
lyrics
SWEET SANDY
In high school days,
she was the sweetest thing
Her teachers were all suspicious
In high school days
She was the brightest girl
She had to pay just to fly away (fly away)
Sweet Sandy
was so cute, she was only sixteen
Dreaming of wonderland
Sweet Sandy
She was just a kid
Living in dreamland
Day after day
she began to feel
the itchings inside her
she tried new tricks,
it was just for kicks for kicks
She's out to tease and please
Sweet Sandy
was so cute, she was only sixteen
Dreaming of wonderland
Sweet Sandy
She was just a kid
Living in dreamland
Sweet Sandy
was so cute, she was only sixteen
Dreaming of wonderland
Sweet Sandy
She was just a kid
Living in dreamland
