about

I sat down on the living room floor, high on ecstacy and that's what came... We shot a cool video clip for it which at first was banned from playing on Musique Plus and MuchMusic for having suicidal and dark subject matter. Until I sent a press release to the media complaining about their lack of support for local art that was outside of the mainstream at the time. This came out the same year as Marilyn Manson's The Beautiful People and they were on heavy rotation. The papers printed some articles about the controversy and we were formally invited to feature on Musique Plus' "La Courbe" Hosted by iconic VJ journalist and general underground music taste maker Claude Rajotte... They did a cool interview and played the video for the first of many times but this one was prime-time!!

lyrics

X

I have X'ed myself out of this world
I have X'ed myself out of this world
I don't want a capitalist heart
Manson and his fucked-up teenagers were right
Civil war for the U.S.A.
Civil war for the U.S.A.

Drop the bomb on L.A.
Drop the bomb on New York
Beat up King on camera

I have X'ed myself out of this world
I have X'ed myself out of this world
All latinos and blacks should organise
Under a leader they can't shoot
A phantom voice on the internet
The L.A riots really were a blast

Aaah yeah extacy!
Aaah yeah X!
Aaah yeah extacy!
Aaah yeah X!

Drop the bomb on L.A.
Drop the bomb on New York
Beat up King on camera

Aaah yeah extacy!
Aaah yeah X!
Aaah yeah extacy!
Aaah yeah X!

I have X'ed myself out of this world
I have X'ed myself out of this world
